Reactor Clarification: This special and versatile clarification process, slurry recirculation precipitation, yields high performance by reacting chemicals to extract impurities from water. Several chemical reactions can be employed such as with alum or lime, the choice and manner of which depend on the raw water nature and the treatment objectives. Often this process is a necessary precursor to other processes such as reverse osmosis or as treatment prior to wastewater discharge. |
